I know I say this every month, but how is it possible that it’s already June?! This year is flying by! In May I read 20 books, and below I’ll share everything I read and let you know which ones were my favorites! All of the book titles link back to Goodreads so you can look them up if you’re interested!
I seriously don’t understand how we are already in MAY. It doesn’t seem possible because I swear we just celebrated the new year like, 5 minutes ago. Despite my lack of ability to accept how quickly the year is passing, here we are, ready for my April Wrap Up! In April I read 19 books, and below I’ll share everything I read and let you know which ones were my favorites! All of the book titles link back to Goodreads so that you can look them up quickly!
I can’t believe March is already over – it feels like the month flew by! I am a little disappointed in my progress for March. I’ve shared with you guys before that I suffer from depression, and some periods of life are better than others. In the first half of March, I was struggling a lot. I wasn’t reading or posting on bookstagram because I had no motivation to do even the basic things in life, let alone extra things. After that, I got really sick, and again just didn’t have the energy or concentration to read a lot. That said, I was able to get through 15 books in March, and I’m still ahead of schedule to meet my 2017 goal of 200 books. Below I’ll share them all with you and let you know which ones were my favorite!
Friday Finds is a weekly feature designed to show off the new books you’ve found and added to your TBR this week! As much as I’ve been trying to be selective about adding books to my TBR list so I can get it under control, I’ve still managed to add 6 books to my TBS list this week, and here they are!
As you may remember, one of my 2017 goals was to make some progress on my backlist! I have a ridiculous amount of books that I own but haven’t read (like, it’s legit embarrassing – I have two full bookcases of books I haven’t read! Ahh!) and I’ve been trying to make a conscious effort to read some of my backlist books every month! So far for 2017, I’ve read 11 books from my backlist.
Today I want to share some of the books I’m planning to read this year from my backlist! There are SO many I’m excited to finally read, but I’m going to limit myself to these ten.
I can’t believe 2016 is coming to a close already! It’s been a great year in my personal life, which is awesome! I started my bookstagram account in October and my blog in November, and the community has been so incredible and everyone has been so friendly and helpful! I’ve already made some amazing friends, and I hope to make more in 2017! So that leads me here! I want to talk about some of my milestones and favorite books that were published in 2016 and talk about some goals and challenges I’m setting for myself in 2017.
